After many years of experience working in urban settings, We are now contributing to the rural culture & local economies on DSL’s 200-600 mile astro-wilderness corridor, via exhibitions, Installations, partnerships, collaborations, advocacy projects, public events that elevate the south western culture, bringing communities together while raising awareness on the importance of protecting the night and wildlife in the region.
In 2025 we began a yearly partnership with the Continental Divide Trail Coalition and NRPE, creating an annual ‘The Star Gathering Event’ (April 2025 -May 15, 16 2026).
Natural Darkness. Retreats .
Dark Sky Land is a council member with the Dark Sky New Mexico Chapter, an active member of the Magdalena Astronomical Society which produces the prestigious Annual “Enchanted Skies Star Party’ on HWY 60s Astro-corridor since 2021.
