Dark Sky Land, Inc is an Interdisciplinary organization dedicated to connecting people to the land, nature, self and the cosmos.
Our vision is to increase public awareness through projects and retreats that offer a direct experience of natural darkness, in an already exceptionally dark and wild New Mexico region. To preserve 600-miles of dark skies from the existential effects light pollution has on; human health, wildlife, astronomy, culture, biodiversity, bird migration, and future generation’s naked eye view access to our galaxy, the milky way.
