Our vision is to preserve the night sky in an already exceptionally dark and wild New Mexico region, to protect the DARK SKY LAND (HWY 60) ASTRO-WILDERNESS Corridor from the hidden impact of light pollution’s existential threat to astronomy, wildlife, ancestral culture, rural economy, human health, biodiversity, bird migration, future generations.
